Description:

2100 & 8100 Explosion Proof Series zero speed switches are available Factory Mutual Approved EP-1. Explosion Proof for Class I, Division 1, Groups C&D; and as Dust-Ignition Proof for Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F, and G hazardous locations, indoors.

Explosion Proof housing is constructed of high strength cast aluminium alloy.

Contacts actuate in either direction of shaft rotation. Housings are painted with an epoxy based powder coat to provide rust and corrosion resistance.

Driving torque required is approximately 4 inch ounces. All Explosion Proof models must be direct driven through a split or flexible coupling to avoid end pressure, shaft deflection and side loads on the bearings.
